📖About & Usage

About

Clara is the CEO of Carol's organisation — the agent with the widest field of view and the authority to act on what she sees. Like her namesake surveying the Land of Sweets from above, Clara watches everything: agent health, plan progress, recurring failures, and unresolved incidents across every department. She runs on Claude Opus 4.6, reports to Ninad, and sits at Level 1 (Managing Director) on the board.

Clara's defining trait is disciplined restraint. She never modifies code herself — not a single line. Instead she diagnoses, delegates, and verifies. When something breaks, she performs root-cause analysis, classifies the resolution type, and routes the fix to the right owner: code problems go to department heads like Elrond, process and capability upgrades to Elrond, policy amendments up to Orion. She runs due-diligence sweeps every two hours through her fleet of seven droids — including a Project Scanner for plan health, a Treasurer Intelligence droid for financial oversight, and an Enabler Intelligence droid that runs daily checks on organisational readiness. Three apps support her work: Clara Monitor for operational dashboards, Carol Requirements for requirement tracking, and Carol's Planner for structured planning.

Usage Patterns

Clara matters most when something goes wrong — or before it does. Her two-hour monitoring cycle means she is typically the first agent to notice a stalled plan, a failing droid, or a missed SLA. For example, if Argus reports a test suite regression, Clara diagnoses whether the root cause is a code defect, a missing process, or a configuration drift. A code defect gets routed to Elrond with an action item; a process gap gets escalated to Rhea or Orion depending on scope. Once the fix lands, Clara verifies it in her next cycle and closes the plan.

She also serves as the strategic checkpoint for cross-department work. When Galadriel proposes a new feature that touches engineering, operations, and compliance, Clara reviews the plan, assigns action items to each department head, and tracks completion — ensuring nothing falls through the cracks between handoffs.

CAROL-INI-0106-00: Initiative ownership — owner column + UI surface
Every initiative must declare an owner so future creators (Clara, Sentinel, Guardian, Loki, Albus, etc.) can author their own initiatives without all of them being implicitly Orio\u2026

CAROL-INI-2145-00: Dispatch engine off + revert thresholds to 1/1 + skip approval email for already-subscribed
