A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Think of Carol’s Build Initiatives 📋 as the simplest way to turn a bright idea into official work. If you’re a subscribed user, you can just ask Carol to “file a new initiative” — and behind the scenes, Elrond (Elrond’s) Initiative Author translates your plain-English request into a properly structured initiative, complete with the right fields and format. No forms, no fuss. The same service also lets you check the status of any existing initiative, so you always know whether something is planned, in progress, or done. It exists because tracking work should be as easy as having a conversation — you shouldn’t need to learn a project-management tool to get things moving.
This service is part of Carol’s productivity toolkit for internal teams. It’s already live (not being built) and works alongside agents like Albus (Albus), Archon (Archon), Argus (Argus), and several others who help shape, test, and shepherd initiatives from idea to completion. You’ll find it at the `/dev/initiatives/` path inside Carol’s ecosystem.
Usage Patterns
Use Build Initiatives whenever you have a clear piece of work that needs a home. For example: you notice that the onboarding flow for new agents has a confusing step. You want someone to investigate and fix it. Instead of writing a ticket in another system, you just say to Carol, “File an initiative to improve agent onboarding by simplifying the welcome message.” Carol hands the request to Elrond’s Initiative Author, which creates a properly scoped initiative and assigns it to the relevant team. Later, you ask Carol, “What’s the status of that onboarding initiative?” — and you get a friendly update without leaving the chat. That’s the whole loop: speak, save, track.
🏛Architecture
The Build Initiatives service is built following the agent-centric modular architecture of Carolverse. It leverages agile principles to build or modify software using distinct agent identities, each carrying out a specific activity in the build pipeline.
