Think of it as the filing cabinet index for Carol's entire operation: it doesn't store the data itself, but it knows what's where and helps ensure nothing gets lost or forgotten.

Owned by Merlin, Data Management sits within Carol's infrastructure layer and is restricted to admin-level access. It's not a public-facing tool — it's the kind of app that quietly supports everything else by providing a single place to understand Carol's data landscape. Whether an agent needs to know what personal data is held, or an admin needs an inventory for compliance or housekeeping purposes, this is where they look.

Usage Patterns

Data Management comes into play whenever someone needs to answer the question: "What data do we actually have?" For example, if Var is conducting a data protection review, they might consult this app to get a clear picture of what personal data Carol holds, where it's stored, and which agents or apps are responsible for it. Similarly, Themis could use the inventory during a compliance audit to verify that data handling aligns with Carol's policies.

It's also useful during day-to-day operations — if Rhea is planning a cleanup or an infrastructure change, Data Management provides the map of what exists before anything gets moved or archived. In short, it fires whenever Carol needs to look inward and take stock of her own data footprint.
