📖About & Usage
About
Elrond Monitor is the engineering command centre for Carol's AI ecosystem. It gives Elrond — Carol's Head of Engineering — a single dashboard to track code fixes, prompt changes, and deployment status across the platform. Think of it as a live scoreboard for everything the engineering team is building, breaking, and shipping.
Rather than hopping between git logs, deployment pipelines, and change records, Elrond Monitor pulls these threads together in one place. It helps Elrond (and authorised teammates) spot what's been patched, which prompts have been tweaked, and whether the latest release actually made it to production. It sits within Carol's monitoring family of apps — alongside tools like Clara Monitor, Hermione Monitor, and Sentinel Monitor — each giving a different leader a tailored view of their domain.
Usage Patterns
Elrond Monitor is most useful during and after active development cycles. When Forge lands a code fix or Archon refines a prompt, the monitor surfaces those changes so Elrond can review what shifted and why. After a deployment, it provides status confirmation — did the rollout succeed, or is something stuck in the pipeline?
A typical scenario: a bug is reported, Forge pushes a fix, and the corresponding prompt is adjusted to prevent the issue recurring. Elrond opens Elrond Monitor to verify all three pieces — the code change, the prompt update, and the successful deployment — line up. If something looks off, the monitor makes it easy to trace back to the specific change. It's an authenticated, internal-only tool (not public-facing), accessible at its dedicated URL within Carol's infrastructure.
