Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Agent Engagement is a read-only dashboard that lets administrators peek behind the curtain at how Carol's internal AI agents talk to Carol. Think of it as a conversation logbook — every time an agent such as Albus, Elrond, or Clara exchanges messages with Carol, those interactions are recorded and browsable here. The app exists so that admins can audit, debug, and simply understand the internal chatter that keeps Carol's ecosystem running smoothly.
It sits in the monitoring card group alongside tools like Carol Monitor and Hermione Monitor, and it is the agent-side twin of User Engagement, which does the same job for human users. Where User Engagement (port 7202) tracks people, Agent Engagement (port 7206) tracks agents — same idea, different audience. The app is owned by Carol and is restricted to admin-level access; regular users cannot view it.
Usage Patterns
Agent Engagement is typically opened when an admin wants to investigate what happened in a particular agent conversation — for example, if Argus ran a test suite and the results looked unexpected, an admin could pull up the relevant conversation thread here to see exactly what prompts were sent and what responses came back. It is also useful during routine health checks: scanning recent agent conversations can surface patterns like repeated errors, unusually long exchanges, or agents that have gone quiet.
Because the dashboard is read-only, it is a safe, non-destructive tool — nobody can accidentally alter a conversation record by browsing it. It complements the deeper diagnostics available in Admin Monitor and Activity Tracker by providing a focused, conversation-level view of agent activity.
