Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Activity Tracker is Carol's central dashboard for understanding what her agents have been doing — and how much it's costing. Think of it as a combined activity log and expense report for an entire AI workforce. It shows summaries of agent work, breaks activity down into categories, tracks execution metrics, and charts per-agent daily trends over time.
The app was originally part of Carol's Planner, but as Carol's ecosystem grew, the activity and cost views needed their own home. It was spun out into a standalone dashboard and is now owned by Midas, who keeps a close eye on the financial side of agent operations. Access is restricted to admins, making it an internal tool for people who need the full picture of what's happening under the hood.
Usage Patterns
Activity Tracker is the go-to screen when someone wants to answer questions like "Which agents were busiest yesterday?" or "How much did last week's initiative cost in API calls?" It's particularly useful after a big push — say, a new feature rollout or a migration sprint — when leadership wants to review how much compute and effort went into the work.
For example, if Midas notices a spike in overall costs, they might open Activity Tracker to drill down by agent and category. They could spot that Forge ran an unusually high number of build cycles on a particular day, or that a specific initiative drove a surge in activity across multiple agents. The daily trend charts make it easy to see patterns at a glance, while the category breakdowns help distinguish routine operations from one-off tasks. It pairs naturally with Azure Cost Tracker and Initiative Cost Tracker for deeper financial analysis.
