📖About & Usage

About

Quality Scorecard is Carol's at-a-glance dashboard for understanding how well each service is performing against quality standards. Every service in the ecosystem receives a maturity score out of 10, calculated and maintained by the Maturity Assessor (a component of the Maturity Scoring block). Think of it as a report card — but instead of grades in maths and science, it tracks how mature and reliable each service's processes are.

The app doesn't just show a static number. It tracks the trend over time, so you can see whether a service is improving, plateauing, or slipping. It also surfaces live Process Health data drawn from the Quality RSI loop — a continuous feedback cycle that monitors how well quality processes are actually working in practice. The whole thing is owned and overseen by Prometheus, Carol's Head of Quality Management.

Usage Patterns

Quality Scorecard is typically used during quality reviews, service assessments, and operational check-ins. For example, if Rhea wants to understand whether a particular service has been trending upward after a recent improvement initiative, she can open the scorecard and see both the current maturity score and its historical trajectory — no digging through raw data required.

It also plays a role in prioritisation: teams can compare maturity scores across services to decide where to focus improvement effort next. If a service is sitting at 4/10 while others are at 7 or 8, that's a clear signal. The live Process Health feed means the scorecard stays current rather than relying on periodic manual assessments, making it a reliable window into quality posture at any moment. Access is restricted to authenticated users within Carol's ecosystem.

Change2026-07-04

The Quality Scorecard has been redesigned with a new chrome and layout: the Target and Current columns have been replaced by a green-tick/red-cross Status, and the Services|Measure|Status three-column layout now includes readable descriptions and links to the Services Catalogue and Process Monitoring dashboard. Additionally, top stat boxes have been added.
