📖About & Usage
About
Leo Monitor is a dashboard that shows you what's happening inside Carol's strategic planning engine. Whenever Leo (Leo, Head of Strategy) kicks off a planning cycle — orchestrated by the system known as Gandalf — this app gives you a project-level view of every run: which droids participated, how long each step took, whether anything was skipped, and why.
Think of it as a flight-control screen for planning activity. Instead of digging through logs or asking someone "did that plan actually run?", you open Leo Monitor and get a clear, structured answer. It tracks per-droid execution status, step durations, and any steps that were deliberately skipped (along with the reason), so you can spot bottlenecks or failures at a glance.
Usage Patterns
Leo Monitor is most useful during and immediately after a Gandalf planning run. For example, if Leo triggers a strategy cycle for a new initiative and you want to confirm that every droid completed its assigned planning steps, you'd check Leo Monitor to see a row-by-row breakdown — green for completed, skipped with a reason tag, or flagged if something stalled.
It's also handy for retrospectives: if a plan took longer than expected, you can look at step durations to find which droid or phase was the bottleneck. The app is accessible to authenticated users at port 7176 and owned by Leo. You'll often find it used alongside Leo Chat App for conversational strategy queries and Carol Monitor for broader system health.
