Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Session Induction is the friendly welcome screen that kicks off every work session for Orion, the Deputy Admin of Carol's ecosystem. Think of it as a pre-flight checklist for managing Carol's AI agents and infrastructure. When Orion sits down to work, this app presents a three-section dashboard that answers three essential questions: What's today's context? What happened since I last checked? Is everything running smoothly?
The first section, Documents, surfaces important reference materials, recent updates, and any pending items from Carol's collective memory—saving Orion from having to hunt down scattered information. The Handover section provides a clear summary of what's been happening across Carol's systems while Orion was away, including any issues flagged by monitoring agents like Hermione or Argus. Finally, the Health Check section shows live system status for key components, so Orion can spot trouble before it grows. In short, Session Induction is the organized starting point that ensures Orion never begins a session blind.
Usage Patterns
Session Induction fires every time Orion starts a new work period—typically first thing in the morning or after a significant break. For example: Orion returns after a weekend. Instead of opening multiple dashboards and logs, they open Session Induction. The Documents area shows a newly updated policy from Carol Policies and a link to yesterday's Orion's Logbook entry. The Handover lists three events overnight—including a successful automated maintenance task by Forge and a minor performance dip that Carol Monitor already resolved. The Health Check confirms all services are green. Orion can then move immediately to the actual work of the day, informed and confident.
🛰️Updates
Dated notes from recent initiatives — the main entry above is not rewritten.
Session Induction had a registry row with an unresolvable public URL (Blueprint) and a duplicate port. The public-URL pipeline now enforces validation and dedup; update the app's URL to a reachable address.
🗂️Tabs & Screens
Tab inventory is being built — see CAROL-INI-077 step 7.
