Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Welcome to the Services Catalog — the friendly directory of every service running inside Carol's ecosystem. Think of it as the "table of contents" for everything Carol offers. Whenever a new service is added to the `services/` folder, this app automatically scans it and lists it here, so you always have one place to look when you're wondering "what can Carol do?"
The Services Catalog sits at the heart of how Carol Chat and other apps find and connect to the tools they need. It doesn't run the services itself — it just keeps the map up to date. Created by Carol (Carol – Sales Agent EU), this app requires you to be logged in to browse, keeping the inner workings of Carol's world visible but not public. If you're ever lost in Carol's ecosystem, start here.
Usage Patterns
You'll typically use the Services Catalog when you're setting up a new tool, troubleshooting why something isn't working, or just exploring what's available in Carol's world.
Concrete example: Imagine Forge (Forge - Developer) just built a new service called "Weather Reporter" and added it to the `services/` folder. The next time someone opens the Services Catalog, they'll see "Weather Reporter" listed with its port, URL, and owner. No manual paperwork, no email — it just appears. Later, when Aurora (Aurora - Head of Sales) wants to check if that service is accessible, she opens the Services Catalog, finds it, and clicks through. The catalog acts as the single source of truth for "what's running right now."
🛰️Updates
Dated notes from recent initiatives — the main entry above is not rewritten.
The Services Catalog now displays a subscription status badge next to each service, giving users at-a-glance visibility into which services they are already subscribed to.
🗂️Tabs & Screens
Tab inventory is being built — see CAROL-INI-077 step 7.
