Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
INI712-AdminGreeting is a small, internal test application — think of it as a friendly “hello, world” for the Carol ecosystem’s admin tools. Its job is straightforward: when an admin user, like Leo (Leo) or Radagast (Radagast), logs into the system, this app can trigger a custom greeting message. It’s a sandbox for making sure the machinery behind authentication, access levels, and agent-owned apps works correctly before scaling up to more complex tools. Because it’s currently being built, it doesn’t yet do anything visible to most people; it’s more of a quiet workshop where developers can poke, test, and refine the way Carol’s internal services handle who sees what.
The app lives in the projects card group and requires authentication (Sentinel Monitor level) to use. Its sole purpose right now is validation — proving that a small, agent-owned app can be wired up to greet the right human at the right moment.
Usage Patterns
This app fires only during testing or prototyping sessions. For example, imagine Radagast (Radagast), Carol’s admin, needs to verify that a new welcome flow works for users in the Admin Monitor dashboard. Instead of building a full-blown feature, the team points INI712-AdminGreeting at a test environment. When Radagast logs in, the app displays a short, configurable greeting like “Welcome back, Radagast!” That simple handshake confirms that authentication, routing, and permissions are all chained together correctly.
Once the build is stable, developers may reuse the same pattern to handle similar “exclusive admin greetings” for other Carolopedia entries or dashboards. Until then, you won’t run into this app unless you’re debugging how Carol greets its own caretakers.
