Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
Carol Apps is the front door to Carol's admin ecosystem — a dashboard that organises every internal application by the agent that owns it. Think of it as a lobby directory for a building full of specialised offices: instead of hunting through bookmarks or remembering URLs, you land here and see everything laid out, grouped under the agent responsible for each app.
The dashboard is owned by Orion, and it lives at `/dev/apps/` on port 7080. Access requires authentication — it's not public-facing — so only authorised team members can browse or launch apps from here. Whether you need to jump into Carolopedia, check the Carol Monitor, or open Carol Design, Carol Apps gives you a single starting point.
Usage Patterns
Carol Apps is the natural first stop whenever someone logs into the admin side of Carol's world. A typical scenario: an administrator needs to review today's agent activity, check infrastructure health, and then update a policy document. Rather than remembering three separate URLs, they open Carol Apps, scan the agent-grouped layout, and click through to Activity Tracker, Carol Infra Monitor, and Carol Policies in turn.
It also serves as a quick orientation tool for new team members. Because apps are grouped by their owning agent — for example, apps belonging to Elrond sit together, separate from those under Radagast — the dashboard doubles as an informal map of who looks after what. If you're wondering which agent owns a particular tool, a glance at the grouping gives you the answer without digging through configuration files.
