Migration Roadmap is Carol's central dashboard for tracking every migration initiative happening across the platform. Think of it as a project board dedicated to one question: where are we on moving things over? Owned and managed by Thorin, the Migration Manager, it gives the migration team — including Noah (Head of Migration) and Gimli (Migration Architect) — a single place to see what's been planned, what's in flight, and what's done. Carol's own build-out is tracked here as migration #1, but the app is designed to follow any migration effort the organisation takes on.

The app lives in the Operations card group and is accessible only to authenticated users, so it's an internal tool rather than a public-facing one. It runs on port 7171 at `/dev/migration/`.

Usage Patterns

Migration Roadmap comes into play whenever a new migration initiative is kicked off or an existing one needs a status check. For example, when Gimli designs a migration plan for moving a legacy service into Carol's ecosystem, that plan gets registered here so Thorin can track milestones, flag blockers, and report progress up to Noah. It's also the go-to screen during planning meetings — anyone wondering "how far along is migration X?" can pull up the roadmap instead of chasing people on chat.

Because Carol herself is migration #1, you'll find this app referenced frequently in initiative discussions and in tools like Carol Initiatives and the Migration Cookbook. If Migration Roadmap is the scoreboard, the Migration Cookbook is the playbook — one tracks progress, the other explains how to do the work.
