PA-C4 supports this by automatically researching publicly available information about known customers each week, validating findings with high confidence, and storing verified facts in Carol's customer records.

Droid responsibility

PA-C4 helps Carol build richer customer profiles without waiting for customers to volunteer information. It takes working guesses other droids have made about customers (like profession or origin), uses those as search hints, performs focused web lookups, judges whether results match each customer with high confidence, and stores verified findings back into the customer record for Carol to reference.

What the droid actually does

• Runs weekly to search the web for public information about known customers
• Uses other droids' guesses (name origin, profession, language) to build focused search queries
• Performs web searches to find public profiles and professional information
• Uses AI to evaluate whether search results match the customer with high confidence (90%+)
• Stores verified findings in the customer record with source details, quotes, and timestamps
• Tracks gaps in customer knowledge (missing name, location, employer, social handles, interests) for other droids to help address

Boundaries

• Will not save findings without high confidence (90%+) or support from multiple evidence sources
• Requires prior guesses to guide searches; will not do broad, unfocused web digging
• Will not overwrite information customers have directly shared with Carol
• Searches happen once per week on a fixed schedule, not in real-time
• Treats web findings as one source of evidence alongside others; final decisions about confirmed facts are made by other evaluation systems
