Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
The Process Health Scorecard is a dedicated monitoring app, lovingly built by Hermione, that gives every service in Carol’s ecosystem a simple, clear grade: are their behind-the-scenes processes running successfully or not? Think of it as a health check — a single window that shows, at a glance, whether everything is humming along or something needs attention. The target for each service is a perfect 100% success rate, meaning every scheduled or triggered task completes without error.
This app exists because Carol runs on hundreds of interconnected processes — data syncs, report generation, automated approvals, and more — and when one fails, it can ripple across the whole system. Rather than hunting through logs or waiting for someone to notice a problem, teams can open the Scorecard and instantly see which services are green and which need investigation. It’s a friendly but unflinching report card for the machine.
Usage Patterns
The Scorecard fires constantly — it refreshes automatically to show the latest results for every service in Carol’s fleet. A typical scenario: the team behind Initiative Cost Tracker (the budget watcher) notices their automated data pull hasn’t updated in hours. They open the Process Health Scorecard, find their service listed, and see a red status with a failure message — a connection timeout. With that information, Elrond (Head of Engineering) can immediately assign Forge to investigate the upstream database, all without pinging ten different people. The Scorecard is the first stop when something feels off, and the daily proof that everything is okay when every row is green.
